This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance services for all Curiox systems.
• Offer support to FAS and FSE team members globally by addressing their requests promptly and effectively, providing on-site assistance as necessary (US, EMEAI, APAC).
• Collaborate with FAS, FSE, and Sales personnel worldwide to ensure the ticketing system is current and accurately reflects customer information in HubSpot.
• Analyze and repair faulty instruments returned from the field and generate failure analysis reports.
• Repair, validate, and maintain a fleet of standby (“loaner”) systems to ensure they are consistently operational and ready for quick deployment.
• Deliver outstanding customer support through training and technical assistance for installed instruments.
• Log and report all repairs, product failures, and relevant field service documentation in HubSpot via the ticketing system.
• Manage and update service forms (PMs, IOQs, etc.) to incorporate product changes as they occur.
• Provide feedback on design changes in collaboration with R&D, Operations, and production teams.
• Identify potential Field Service opportunities for future business and communicate these insights to the FSE manager, Sales Team, and field operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• At least 1 year of experience in working with, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems that involve fluidics and electronics.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with integrated robotic systems, including robotic arms/plate handlers, and automation workflow software.
• At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or scientific setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of tools and techniques for identifying, anticipating, and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Capability to tackle complex problems in a fast-paced work environment.
• Self-motivated and directed, with a strong attention to detail, work ethic, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve both individual and team goals.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment, including adaptability with scheduling and functions.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Technical expertise in instrumentation and electronics.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with employees around the world.
• Travel up to approximately 75%, including overnight and international travel.
