Weekend Localization and Interpreting Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Evaluate costs and create project budgets and quotes for clients.

• Coordinate all phases of projects while accurately predicting the duration of each stage, adhering to achievable deadlines.

• Employ tools such as Plunet for time management and take complete responsibility for projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and successful delivery from initiation to completion.

• Comply with relevant policies and procedures.

• Respond promptly to client inquiries through chats, phone calls, and emails.

• Report activities in group chats and maintain active communication with colleagues regarding ongoing tasks.

• Negotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers using HR freelancer databases.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with freelancers on a global scale.

• Monitor and oversee project status.

• Manage project finances, including budgeting.

• Conduct quality checks at various stages to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final review).

• Address freelancer inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, business administration, and customer service.

• Familiarity with Localization and Interpretation relevant to the Project Manager position.

• Proficient in using CAT tools such as Smartcat and MemoQ.

• Experienced with Translation Management systems like Trados.

• A university degree in Business Administration, Translations, or a related field is preferred.

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English (Native or C1) along with fluency in a second language.

• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.

• Excellent cross-cultural and interpersonal communication skills.

• High level of professionalism and courtesy.
