This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for construction management within a PMO setting, which encompasses scheduling, field verifications, permitting, procurement assistance, monitoring and control, vendor management, project accounting, progress reporting, and onsite buildout/fixturization.
• Oversee project schedule start and finish dates, task durations, completion progress, sequencing, lookaheads, delays, risks, and opportunities.
• Aid in construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Assist with procurement and ordering by verifying electrical, lighting, and HVAC equipment takeoffs.
• Evaluate construction plans for completeness and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on shop drawings and submittals.
• Perform regular site visits to observe construction activities and ensure compliance of as-built conditions with contract documents and specifications.
• Engage in store setup and build-out, overseeing temporary laborers in tasks such as unloading, unboxing, installing fixtures, and stocking supplies.
• Maintain communication with vendors as directed by the Project Manager.
• Create daily and weekly project status reports for the Project Manager's review and approval.
• Participate in consultant and vendor meetings, documenting minutes and following up on action items.
• Uphold the LaserAway brand standards during both virtual and in-person interactions.
• Facilitate project turnover documentation, recordkeeping, retention, and closeout processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills along with presentation abilities.
• Proficient in Google Suite Applications, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• General understanding of the permitting process.
• Familiarity with construction best practices, commercial tenant improvement construction methods, and general building codes.
• Capability to perform and supervise general labor activities, including loading and unloading boxes and equipment and mounting various fixtures.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset for problem-solving.
• Ability to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities independently.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 20%.
• Ability to climb a ladder to access rooftops.
• Ability to lift boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• $80,000–$85,000 annual salary (Exempt).
