This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the site strategy to achieve significant inbound growth and provide outstanding experiences for organic inbound traffic, agentic LLM interactions, and channel partnerships.
• Maintain a strong perspective on the optimal structure of the site to effectively cater to our diverse audiences.
• Manage the site roadmap and prioritize decisively given available resources.
• Develop and support recommendations regarding CMS tools (currently utilizing Sanity but open to alternatives).
• Oversee SEO and GEO comprehensively: ensuring technical health, crafting content strategies, optimizing agentic interactions, and targeting keywords for both B2B and D2C audiences.
• Construct and enhance conversion pathways for each audience segment — including employer pipelines, university inquiries, and student acquisition.
• Ensure proper instrumentation of the site: analytics, tracking, and attribution; guaranteeing insight into effective strategies.
• Manage the publishing workflow — from initial brief to live publication — collaborating with internal stakeholders and external contractors (copywriters, designers, developers) as necessary.
• Work with peers to integrate dynamic content into the website sourced from both internal and external authorities.
• Ensure the website consistently reflects Clasp's brand quality across all pages.
• Keep content updated amidst a rapidly evolving policy and product landscape.
• Oversee external contractors and agency partnerships as required.
• Serve as the internal contact for all website-related matters — including engineering, marketing, sales, and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering and information security teams to maintain the reliability and secure operation of the website.
• 4–7 years of experience in digital marketing, web strategy, or growth, with direct ownership of a website or web channel for part of that time.
• Proven ability to think architecturally about multi-audience web experiences, beyond just executing tasks.
• Strong expertise in SEO and GEO, encompassing both technical and content aspects.
• Proficient in modern CMS platforms — such as Sanity, Webflow, Contentful, or similar alternatives.
• Data-driven: you leverage analytics for decision-making and can establish reporting infrastructure if needed.
• Excellent writing and communication skills — responsible for drafting briefs, making recommendations to leadership, and potentially creating copy yourself.
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI tools to automate manual tasks and researching & implementing best practices in contemporary web marketing.
