Webmethods Platform Developer, Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain IBM/Software AG WebMethods environments.

• Handle platform configuration, performance optimization, and capacity planning.

• Monitor system health, availability, and performance metrics.

• Manage middleware infrastructure across development, QA, UAT, and production settings.

• Coordinate platform upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and implement security updates.

• Execute server provisioning, decommissioning, and lifecycle management tasks.

• Support initiatives for infrastructure modernization and migration projects.

• Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and authentication protocols.

• Facilitate platform security reviews and compliance actions.

• Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities and develop remediation strategies.

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to: Firewalls, VPNs, Load balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS, Reverse proxies, and external partner integrations.

• Act as Level 3 support for platform and infrastructure incidents.

• Analyze logs, diagnostics, and performance metrics to determine root causes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience managing IBM/Software AG WebMethods environments.

• Extensive knowledge of: Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, and My WebMethods Server.

• Proficient in Linux and Windows Server administration.

• Proven experience managing middleware environments in large-scale enterprise organizations.

• Solid understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Reverse Proxies.

• Experience in platform monitoring and log analysis.

• Skilled in performing upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery operations.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and root cause analysis expertise.
