Director – Platform & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand a distributed platform and infrastructure organization, remaining actively involved with the team when challenges arise.

• Spearhead initiatives for infrastructure modernization and cloud migration, which includes transitioning services to managed cloud solutions.

• Take ownership of reliability, deployment, and disaster recovery practices across the organization's primary environments.

• Establish engineering standards for infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and operational resilience.

• Collaborate with engineering and senior leadership to convert platform strategy into actionable roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading technical or engineering teams.

• Strong practical experience with a major cloud provider and contemporary infrastructure practices.

• Proven history of leading and developing teams, particularly during incidents and in high-pressure situations.

• Experience in a product-driven technology company.

• Ability to lead distributed teams across various regions comfortably.

• A direct, people-centric leadership approach that emphasizes team development and hands-on support.
