This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical QA for every site before it is delivered to clients, ensuring that broken links, contact forms, mobile responsiveness, page structure, SEO fundamentals, and placeholder content are addressed.

• Develop effective website briefing and handoff processes from the initial idea stage through to execution.

• Foster relationships with development teams by establishing clear expectations, monitoring turnaround times, and providing coaching for both speed and quality.

• Create and implement a ticketing and project tracking system for edit requests, utilizing the recently adopted ClickUp.

• Minimize custom development efforts by transitioning towards established, pre-built website templates.

• Collect requirements for premium custom builds and engage in scoping discussions.

• Collaborate on hosting and domain management, including DNS and hosting environments.

• Facilitate communication between account managers and developers by translating requests effectively.

• Act as the internal lead for website operations and systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor (or a similar page builder); skilled in building and maintaining live websites.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to evaluate the completeness and quality of developers' work, including AI-assisted outputs.

• Solid understanding of SEO principles, encompassing on-page fundamentals and content guidance for pages focused on specific services and locations.

• Experience in coordinating with development teams and drafting precise specifications.

• A strong emphasis on quality assurance.

• Ability to create processes and systems from the ground up.

• Effective communication skills to engage with non-technical account managers and technical developers alike.

• A FIO (figure it out) mindset and readiness to navigate unfamiliar CMS platforms and unique client requests.

• Experience working in a marketing or digital agency catering to small-to-midsize business clients (preferred).

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (preferred).

• A background that combines technical work with direct interaction with people, such as in client services or technical account management (preferred).

• Formal training and experience in SEO (preferred).
