This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Receive, analyze, monitor, and process purchase contracts (PCs), providing status updates and suggesting process enhancements.
• Verify, rectify, or report discrepancies in PCs, covering aspects such as taxes, duties, delivery, payment, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Track, analyze, and deliver weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports concerning PC status and activity metrics.
• Dispatch reviewed PCs to suppliers while overseeing acceptance and necessary actions.
• Draft and submit inquiries and requests to departments including Legal, Finance, Tax, Advisory, PCAD, and others.
• Revise PCs and update status in alignment with the Client’s directives.
• Evaluate PC performance, troubleshoot issues, and carry out maintenance, review, or cancellation actions as required.
• Examine purchase requisitions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address unresolved issues related to supplier payments.
• Maintain updated and organized information and incident records.
• Assist in negotiations and discussions with suppliers.
• Organize, participate in, facilitate, and document meetings, while monitoring action plans.
• Aid in contract management and the expediting of operating and capital goods.
• Assist with PC closure and the archiving of documents.
• Intermediate proficiency in English to engage in meetings with international clients.
• Comprehensive understanding of and expertise in foreign trade.
• Exceptional command of the local language along with strong technical writing abilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with SAP and related solutions (such as Ariba, S/4HANA, YARD, etc.).
• Proficiency in email systems.
• Understanding of customs legislation and procedures.
• Extensive, demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, foreign trade, or similar fields, preferably within medium to large enterprises.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with ICC Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, UCP 600, regarding payments involving letters of credit, SBLCs, and other international payment methods.
• Understanding of foreign exchange.
• Knowledge of international intermodal transportation.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A university degree or technical qualification in any field, with a diploma or certificate issued and recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC).
