This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Transform the entire website UI/UX based on designs from Figma/Sketch into pixel-perfect, functional, and responsive web pages.
• Oversee a responsive website for both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Implement and manage cookie banners across all web pages.
• Introduce innovative web development practices and learning to enhance the customer experience.
• AI Accessibility - Experience with or interest in utilizing AI tools to boost development efficiency (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and improve user experience (e.g., AI-driven search, content personalization, translation).
• Enhance our website with additional pages such as menu, footer, and sitemap, which will be managed and updated by the marketing manager for content and assets.
• Handle code injection, analytics, cookies, asset library, and more.
• Address any WordPress CMS needs as required, including updates to WordPress, plugins, and custom themes. This involves thorough testing in a staging environment to avoid production issues.
• Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for the website's codebase, architecture, and deployment procedures.
• Manage our WP Engine hosting services.
• Ensure the overall security posture of the website by implementing preventative measures (such as vulnerability scanning), monitoring for emerging threats, and defending against malicious traffic and potential exploits.
• Oversee and verify database backups.
• Establish and manage a staging environment's architecture for version control of the website.
• Website Performance Optimization - Continually optimize front-end performance to meet Google Core Web Vitals, ensuring swift and smooth performance across all devices.
• 5-7 years of experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress Customizer.
• Experience working with Asana.
• Solid understanding of integrating WordPress with platforms like HubSpot, GA4, GTM, and others.
• Familiarity with HubSpot.
• Strong grasp of technical SEO principles and their application in a WordPress environment.
• Availability to attend calls in the late afternoon, such as at 6:30 PM.
• Front End: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Back End: Experienced in PHP, SQL, WordPress CMS, REST APIs, and the LAMP stack.
• DevOps Tools: Knowledgeable in Kubernetes and Git (Version Control).
• Server/Hosting: Experience with WP Engine.
• Strong command of the English language.
