Software Engineer, React, TypeScript, Nodejs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take a pivotal role in transitioning legacy frontend systems to React.

• Design and develop a scalable frontend architecture.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to create omnichannel UI experiences.

• Establish and uphold frontend engineering standards.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers on React best practices.

• Contribute to backend development as necessary.

• Actively engage in technical discussions and suggest improved methodologies.

• Assist the team in accelerating progress by minimizing obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in frontend development.

• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Strong comprehension of component architecture, state management, and contemporary frontend patterns.

• Experience with extensive frontend migrations.

• A well-defined perspective on effective frontend engineering.

• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and testing practices.

• Familiarity with Node.js and Nest.js.

• Comfortable operating within an iterative delivery framework.

• Proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing solutions.

• Strong sensitivity to product and design considerations.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience collaborating with remote, distributed teams (fluent English required).
