This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take ownership of and implement the strategy for website development and optimization that aligns with business and growth objectives.
• Create, maintain, and enhance website pages and templates utilizing Webflow and Wix.
• Design scalable components and apply custom coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) when needed.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience.
• Act as the technical lead for all website projects, ensuring adherence to top-notch web standards.
• Convert marketing, product, and brand strategies into smooth on-site user experiences.
• Execute and oversee conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives, including A/B and multivariate testing.
• Analyze site performance and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and other analytics platforms.
• Implement SEO best practices across site architecture, metadata, and technical aspects.
• Guarantee mobile-first design, accessibility compliance, and page speed optimization on all platforms.
• Identify prospects for enhancing conversion funnels, lead generation, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Conduct usability testing and utilize data-driven insights to continually enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate with content, SEO, CRM, and paid media teams to ensure effective landing pages and campaigns.
• Excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where testing, iteration, and innovation lead to impactful results.
• Over 5 years of experience in website marketing, product management, or digital strategy.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) with practical experience in Webflow and Wix (essential).
• Skilled in HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript (capable of customizing components).
• Strong grasp of web performance optimization, custom code within Webflow, and structured data (schema) to enhance SEO.
• Experience with API integrations and compliance-focused tracking.
• Background in regulated environments, effectively balancing compliance and creativity.
• Proven track record of enhancing site performance and conversion rates.
• Familiarity with CMS workflows, UX/UI principles, and web analytics.
• Capable of planning, delivering, and owning web projects from start to finish.
