Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve issues related to the website, including bugs and support inquiries.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems associated with hosting, DNS, and server operations.

• Oversee website migrations to ensure minimal downtime.

• Maintain the stability, security, and overall functionality of the website.

• Develop and customize website features in accordance with project specifications.

• Create and adapt WordPress themes and plugins.

• Write clean, maintainable code that is well-documented.

• Identify and fix compatibility issues between plugins and custom code.

• Build and sustain API integrations.

• Configure connections for CRM systems, email marketing, and third-party platforms.

• Ensure precise data synchronization across various systems.

• Troubleshoot any integration failures and performance-related issues.

• Enhance page speed and the performance of Core Web Vitals.

• Implement caching strategies, optimize images, and configure CDN settings.

• Monitor and fine-tune website performance across different devices and browsers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in web development.

• Extensive experience in WordPress development.

• Strong proficiency in PHP (mandatory).

• Familiarity with:

• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript
• Customization of WordPress themes
• Customization of plugins
• API integrations

• Experience with managing:

• cPanel
• DNS records
• Linux hosting environments
• Website migrations

• Background in a digital marketing or web development agency.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools in professional workflows within the past 2 years.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.

• Excellent communication skills in professional English.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience in full-stack development.
• Experience in developing custom plugins.
• Familiarity with SiteGround and WP Engine.
• Experience with CRM integrations.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.
• Experience in optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals.
