Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Accountable for generating leads and achieving sales targets.

• Designing, constructing, or maintaining websites and software applications.

• Collaborating with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize requirements, develop content criteria, or select solutions.

• Overseeing or executing website updates.

• Creating or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases replicate external interfaces and cover all browser and device types.

• Editing, composing, or designing website content, while guiding team members who create content.

• Staying informed about the latest web applications and programming practices through ongoing education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

• Identifying issues highlighted by customer feedback and testing, and rectifying or referring these issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.

• Reviewing code to ensure compliance with industry standards, validity, proper structure, and compatibility with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

• Assessing user needs by analyzing technical specifications.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Web Development or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Strong knowledge and experience in programming applications.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Proficient in MySQL.

• Committed team player.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with programming languages and technical terminology.

• Capable of developing ideas and processes and articulating them clearly.

• High level of independent judgment.

• Skilled in solving complex problems.
