Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee, improve, and troubleshoot the company website, client portal, and data entry systems.

• Create and implement new web pages.

• Engineer new portal systems.

• Optimize the website focusing on speed, accessibility, and enhancements to SEO and UX.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues within a substantial legacy PHP codebase to address daily challenges.

• Enhance frontend functionality through JavaScript development.

• Maintain and design email code.

• Ensure uniformity in branding across all visual designs.

• Design, identify, and advocate for improvements in functionality and user experience.

• Keep precise and current project notes in project management software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and CSS.

• Experience with PHP, jQuery, and Linux command line prompts is an advantage.

• Familiarity with standard git practices.

• Capability to write clear, maintainable, and comprehensible code.

• Expertise in design and layout principles.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to articulate design decisions.

• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Suite and Figma.

• Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla.

• Ability to critically evaluate AI-based solutions.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to advocate for system architecture decisions.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience as a web developer.
