Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain responsive websites and web applications.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to improve website functionality and user experience.

• Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and overall performance.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across various browsers and devices.

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to development best practices.

• Implement and uphold SEO best practices across digital platforms.

• Manage and maintain website content using CMS platforms like Shopify.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and development best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Web Developer or in a similar capacity.

• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.

• Familiarity with database management and integration.

• Robust understanding of responsive web design principles.

• Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.

• Knowledge of version control systems.

• Experience with CMS platforms, especially Shopify.

• Understanding of SEO best practices and web optimization techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.

• Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

• Exposure to eCommerce platforms and online customer experiences.

• Knowledge of the Zenoti booking platform is a plus but not mandatory.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment.

• Passion for staying informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
