Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transition of a subdomain into the main website experience.

• Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to guarantee technical alignment and the integrity of implementation.

• Establish trusted working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, especially within marketing, product, and engineering teams.

• Execute updated website designs, messaging, and content in collaboration with a contract writer and designer.

• Create scalable website structures and workflows that allow the marketing team to make updates more efficiently over time.

• Manage and optimize WordPress and Squarespace environments, ensuring site stability, responsiveness, accessibility, and performance.

• Resolve technical issues associated with migration, CMS functionality, integrations, redirects, templates, and page performance.

• Provide guidance on website best practices, technical feasibility, and implementation strategy throughout the project lifecycle.

• Address SEO and content migration considerations during the implementation process.

• Ensure meticulous attention to detail across QA, responsive behavior, and user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience.

• Significant hands-on experience with both WordPress and Squarespace (mandatory).

• Demonstrated experience in leading or assisting with complex website migrations and CMS transitions.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, marketing, and creative stakeholders.

• Strong comprehension of CMS architecture, responsive development, SEO fundamentals, and website performance optimization.

• Experience navigating technically complex backend environments and cross-functional approval processes.

• Ability to manage implementation independently while clearly communicating risks, dependencies, and timelines.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and comfort operating in dynamic, fast-paced project environments.
