Solar PV Construction Site Manager – Field Assignment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the field operations and installation aspects of assigned projects to guarantee that equipment is installed safely, accurately, comprehensively, and within the projected timeline.

• Provide oversight for a Solar PV Project related to specific activities of construction contractors and subcontractors.

• Review and develop site-specific work plans for the project.

• Prepare and assess a variety of reports, including those for construction and quality surveillance, source inspections, and certified material tests.

• Resolve issues that arise during construction activities and provide effective solutions.

• Carry out quality control visits to project locations.

• Communicate installation details and timelines with subcontractors during the installation phase.

• Ensure the client’s monitoring portal is set up and operating correctly.

• Lead and participate in contractor performance review and coordination meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in field construction management within the power generation sector.

• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in solar generation facilities.

• Extensive, relevant, and successful experience in overseeing the construction of commercial or industrial Solar PV greenfield/brownfield projects.

• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new software applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work outdoors daily on greenfield construction sites in adverse weather conditions and uneven terrain.
