This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop, update, and present financial plans utilizing planning software.
• Capability to create and provide tax, estate, and insurance planning services.
• Identify advanced planning opportunities and establish internal best practices.
• Achieve mastery of Focus Partners Wealth’s (FPW) investment philosophy.
• Design a comprehensive investment strategy for each client, adjusting risk tolerance as necessary over time.
• Gain an understanding of trading fundamentals. Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to approve and execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax loss harvesting, and more.
• Collaborate with other Associate Wealth Advisors (AWAs) for resources.
• Attain mastery of the technology stack available, including the CRM system and custodian websites.
• Demonstrate the ability to independently lead client communications and interactions.
• Meticulously document client communications and information within the client relationship management platform.
• Engage with clients through emails, calls, and presentations independently.
• Act as the primary contact for client needs and work with team members to guarantee the highest level of client service.
• Conduct client billing reviews and ensure compliance for the advisory team.
• Participate in advisory team business planning initiatives and actively support the firm's strategic goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop business in a team setting.
• Manage a select number of client relationships.
• Spearhead the development of financial planning recommendations for clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Series 65 or an equivalent qualification.
• Over 4 years of experience in financial services.
• CFP® or an equivalent credential (ChFC or CPA + PFS) is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning.
• Strong comprehension of investment strategies, risk management, tax planning, and estate planning.
• Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, particularly in explaining complex financial concepts to clients.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, and financial planning principles.
• Proficient in financial software and tools for modeling and analysis, as well as CRM systems.
