Personal Trainer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver individualized attention, expert guidance, and tailored exercise programming to help each member achieve their health, fitness, and wellness objectives.

• Undertake a range of both large and small projects throughout the internship experience.

• Research and document one injury weekly, covering its causes, treatment, and prevention methods.

• Investigate different health conditions and their physiological effects.

• Create programs based on the profiles of selected trainers.

• Participate in member experience initiatives and support tasks, which include front desk responsibilities and fitness specialist shifts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be eligible to receive academic credit for their internship work.

• A minimum of 2 years completed towards an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Personal Training, or other relevant majors is preferred.

• A friendly and approachable personality, capable of engaging with others.

• A strong enthusiasm for fitness and a commitment to assisting others in achieving their health and wellness aspirations.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Customer-service focused with an ability to understand or quickly learn customer needs and terminology.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Results-driven with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• Previous experience in Personal Training is preferred, though not mandatory.
