
Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Create comprehensive designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost assessments for treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and other systems for water/wastewater storage and conveyance.
• Execute or oversee engineering/process design, hydraulic systems, pumping systems, and treatment process initiatives.
• Lead, guide, and collaborate with various departments and sub-consultants necessary for multi-discipline projects.
• Develop, calibrate, adjust, and conduct hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems, analyzing and communicating findings effectively.
• Support other Project Managers in the daily management and distribution of junior engineering and production personnel on ongoing projects.
• Prepare and/or evaluate technical engineering specifications and cost projections.
• Engage directly with Clients and undertake business development responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater design, permitting, and construction.
• A Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Exceptional technical writing skills for crafting engineering reports and studies.
• Basic familiarity with AutoCAD software (2020 or later) is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of local permitting agency procedures for typical projects as described above.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic modeling software capabilities such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMs, and similar applications.
