Site Manager – Resident Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Oversee FWT, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover processes on-site, serving as the primary contact for the customer.

• Ensure continuous on-site presence throughout the project, facilitating coordination and seamless execution of all work activities.

• Organize, schedule, and allocate service resources in accordance with established guidelines.

• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, collaborating with the Service Quality Manager to maintain strong customer relationships and foster repeat business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or an equivalent technical degree.

• More than 10 years of relevant experience in medium-voltage drives, motors, power electronics, commissioning, field service, or related roles, particularly focusing on the ACS 8080 platform.

• Extensive technical knowledge of drive systems and related equipment (motors, MCPs, transformers, switchgear).

• Demonstrated experience in commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and operating drive systems.

• Outstanding customer-facing communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks within a production facility environment.

• Applicants must possess work authorization that allows them to be employed by ABB in the US.
