Senior Navigation & Guidance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow engineering leaders to design and validate an innovative high-level vehicle architecture.

• Create advanced algorithms for accurate targeting of large, flexible structures in Earth orbit and beyond.

• Develop cutting-edge slewing algorithms for extensive, adaptable structures in Earth orbit and beyond.

• Design simulation and modeling tools to facilitate vehicle and GNC trade studies, including mission design, controls analysis, and 6-DOF simulation development.

• Play a pivotal role in enhancing the GNC organization by recruiting, hiring, and mentoring fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with GNC actuator or sensor sizing, selection, and system design.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing attitude control and/or estimation algorithms on spacecraft.

• Expertise in the verification and validation of GNC flight software within an integrated environment, utilizing 6-DOF simulation and HITL testing.

• Proficiency in Python, Julia, C/C++, or Matlab for algorithm development, implementation, and simulation.
