This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +9 more states.
• Collaborate with the National Sales Channel Manager to comprehend initiatives and formulate a strategic action plan that aligns with the territory's objectives.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of Water-Right, Master Water Conditioning, and AO Pro products and their applications.
• Engage with current and potential users of water treatment products to encourage the purchase of A. O. Smith Water Treatment’s equipment and services.
• Provide ongoing support to current customers while attracting new prospects through on-site technical and resource training sessions.
• Participate in and assist at industry and customer events within your designated region.
• Achieve sales and expense targets as outlined in the annual budget.
• Aid in the effective application and troubleshooting of water treatment solutions, offering in-field support when necessary.
• Engage in monthly reviews and planning meetings to assess progress, tackle challenges, and explore opportunities.
• Follow up promptly on leads, inquiries, and customer concerns.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential water treatment is preferred.
• WQA Certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Previous experience in a water-related or adjacent industry is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
• Strong technical aptitude and solid business acumen.
• Comfortable and willing to present on camera (Zoom, Teams) and to live audiences.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a vehicle suitable for travel throughout the territory.
• Capacity to plan, meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and work cooperatively.
• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and workload effectively from a remote or home-based office.
