Water and Wastewater Engineer – Industrial Environmental

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute technical civil engineering responsibilities, encompassing data gathering, analysis, modeling, design calculations, cost estimation, and the creation of drawings and technical specifications.

• Carry out field investigations, sampling, and documentation under general supervision, ensuring compliance with project standards and safety measures.

• Utilize engineering tools and software including CAD, spreadsheets, GIS mapping, and various applications to facilitate design and project goals.

• Act as an on-site representative for projects, overseeing construction progress and ensuring adherence to specifications.

• Aid in the compilation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to effectively relay findings to clients and internal teams.

• Collaborate with project managers and interdisciplinary teams to guarantee that project deliverables are achieved on schedule, within budget, and align with client expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in environmental or civil engineering, particularly with water/wastewater treatment, lift stations, pump stations, or other forms of environmental design; preferably within the industrial sector.

• Must hold a Professional Engineer registration.

• Proficient in engineering tools, software, and methodologies.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate and work effectively within a team.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
