This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications utilizing Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.

• Execute functional, end-to-end, regression, API, integration, cross-browser, and responsive UI testing.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality releases.

• Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and initiatives for quality enhancement.

• Discover opportunities to enhance test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.

• Guarantee that testing adheres to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and other relevant standards.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with well-defined quality gates using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.

• Ensure test traceability, visibility of coverage, and alignment with release workflows.

• Utilize agentic AI tools to expedite test authoring, maintain self-healing tests, and analyze defects.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing.

• More than 3 years of pertinent automation testing experience.

• At least 4 years of hands-on development experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, or Protractor.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in API automation and REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining test scripts and custom testing tools and frameworks.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with BDD/Cucumber for QA delivery.

• Practical experience with agentic AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; alternatively, a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Preferred: experience in Pharmacy, Clinical Systems, or other healthcare sectors.

• Preferred: experience in an Engineering Center of Excellence.

• Working knowledge of the healthcare domain is advantageous.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering or the construction of AI-assisted test automation pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving and strategic critical-thinking abilities.

• A collaborative team player who takes initiative and communicates efficiently.
