Watch/Jewelry Specialist – Onboard Shops

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Promotes an assortment of watches and timepieces to guests.

• Offers guidance to guests regarding the onboard watch product selection.

• Consistently meets and surpasses sales targets through expert and proven consultative selling techniques.

• Ensures that product presentation is visually appealing and arranged to optimize sales.

• Informs guests about special promotions, new products, and offers.

• Assists guests in locating the merchandise they seek.

• Addresses guests’ complaints and queries effectively.

• Processes customer payments.

• Ensures accurate pricing of items and maintains an attractive and organized shop layout, following the Shop manager's directives and Heinemann guidelines.

• Conducts cycle counts, SKU checks, and prepares inventory.

• Monitors stock levels and replenishes inventory in a timely manner.

• Takes responsibility for ensuring an optimal supply of products and recommends additional inventory when necessary, particularly for items identified as “best sellers.”

• Assists with stock control and inventory management, including receiving and storing large stock deliveries, with a focus on asset protection.

• Reports discrepancies and issues to the supervisor.

• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness in the store, which includes vacuuming and mopping.

• Stays informed about special promotions and sets up displays accordingly.

• Holds responsibility for the organization of the shop and storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and order.

• Prepares to multitask and take on additional responsibilities as needed, including vessel safety duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role of Watch Specialist within a fast-paced retail environment.

• Prior shipboard retail experience is highly desirable.

• Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation abilities.

• Familiarity with products and inventory management techniques.

• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
