Senior Director, Pharmacy Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership directly to pharmacists-in-charge (PICs) across multiple locations.

• Responsible for all operational aspects of pharmacy at these facilities, including performance management metrics.

• Directly manage PICs across various facilities within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory performance standards.

• Establish the strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures for the pharmacy program in alignment with the corporate strategic vision.

• Manage and analyze operating costs while participating in the preparation of the annual budget for the designated work function at both corporate and health plans.

• Develop and ensure compliance with policies, operating procedures, and goals in accordance with both internal and external regulatory bodies.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve and analyze root causes of cross-functional operational issues, including pharmacy audits, communications, and network pricing.

• Oversee the creation and management of pharmacy communications, supporting and coordinating orientation, education, and training initiatives for providers within the pharmacy network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in health care operations management.

• Prior management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing staff performance.

• Current state pharmacist license.
