This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Warehouse Order Selectors are tasked with accurately and promptly assembling customer orders.
• Selectors receive instructions on the orders they need to fulfill and are responsible for physically lifting each product case and stacking it onto a pallet.
• The Warehouse Selector picks customer pallets while utilizing various powered equipment, including a double electric pallet jack.
• Relocate product cases weighing between 20 to 50 pounds from one pallet to another on average.
• Maintain a competitive throughput average, defined as the total number of cases selected relative to the total hours worked.
• Uphold strict quality and accuracy standards to ensure that customers receive premier service.
• Experience with Vocollect, Talkman, Jennifer, or other voice recognition technologies is advantageous.
• Overtime and holiday work are mandatory; anticipate working 6-7 days a week for over 10 hours each day.
• Promote and adhere to FHI’s core value of safety at all times.
• Previous experience as a warehouse associate is desirable.
• Background working in a warehouse setting (e.g., order selection, product storage and staging, powered pallet jacks/forklifts) or relevant experience in fields such as landscaping, construction, roofing, or roadwork.
• Must have a minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse environment as a selector, operating powered equipment including, but not limited to, electric pallet jacks and forklifts like reach, clamp, and cherry pickers.
• Ability to comprehend all facets of order selection, container stacking, and product movement within a warehouse-distribution facility.
• Ability to hand select orders in various warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer sections.
• Commitment to a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks for each assignment is required.
• Steel or composite toe safety footwear is mandatory.
• Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Ability to hear, comprehend, and distinguish speech or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms) in moderate to noisy work settings.
• Paid hotel accommodations and airfare.
• Compensation for travel time.
• Per Diem allowance of $40 per day.
