This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Warehouse Order Selectors are tasked with efficiently and accurately assembling customer orders.
• Selectors receive instructions regarding their assigned orders and are responsible for manually lifting each product case and stacking it onto a pallet.
• The Warehouse Selector picks customer pallets while operating various powered equipment, including a double electric pallet jack.
• Move an average product case weight ranging from approximately 20 to 50 pounds from one pallet to another.
• Achieve a competitive average throughput, defined as the total cases selected divided by the total hours worked.
• Uphold strict quality and accuracy standards to guarantee that customers receive the highest quality service.
• Experience with Vocollect, Talkman, Jennifer, or other voice recognition technologies is advantageous.
• Overtime and holiday work are mandatory; be prepared to work 6-7 days a week for over 10 hours each day.
• Promote and adhere to FHI’s commitment to safety at all times.
• Previous experience as a warehouse associate is preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse setting (e.g., order selection, product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklift operation) or other related fields such as landscaping, construction, roofing, or roadwork is beneficial.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse environment as a selector using powered equipment, including, but not limited to, electric pallet jacks and forklifts such as reach, clamp, and cherry pickers, is required.
• Capability to comprehend all elements of order selection, container stacking, and product movement within a warehouse-distribution facility.
• Ability to hand select orders across various warehouse environments with varying temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks for every assignment.
• Steel or composite toe safety shoes are mandatory.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
• Must be able to hear, understand, and differentiate speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms) in moderately loud to loud work settings.
• Starting pay is $20 per hour.
• Hotel and airfare expenses are covered.
• Paid travel time is provided.
• Per diem of $40 per day.
• Weekly pay is available!
