Warehouse Automation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Lead and/or support Project Teams in areas such as design, implementation, functional specifications, testing, issue tracking, change order management, and trend analysis.

• Guide and/or contribute to corporate and division MHE enhancement/replacement projects.

• Coordinate, measure, analyze, evaluate, plan, communicate, and implement anticipated workflow improvements and cost-saving measures.

• Prepare user requirements along with PLC support/modifications and documentation for all division systems.

• Develop proposals and evaluations to deliver suitable solutions to business needs.

• Collaborate closely with management and MHE support teams to assess, plan, launch, and sustain best practice initiatives.

• Assist with business intelligence and visualization (SCADA) initiatives and projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) solutions.

• Some training in areas like business, project management, or computer science through a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent.

• At least six (6) years of directly related experience.

• Proficiency in Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC software suites, logic, syntax, system interfaces, and networking is essential.

• Familiarity with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC hardware component functions and troubleshooting is required.

• Strong knowledge of Controls Network protocols such as ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Serial, or Ethernet is a must.

• Experience with SICK, Datalogic, or Cognex Scanners and their associated software is necessary.

• Solid electrical background with 480 VAC, 120 VAC, and 24 VDC experience.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Capability to read and interpret mechanical installation drawings using tools like AutoCAD is required.

• Experience with Warehouse Control Systems and Automation Systems is required.

• Project Management or People Management experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with SCADA systems or other visualization software is a plus.

• Experience with HMI tools such as FactoryTalk View or WinCC is advantageous.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ASi networks and related hardware is beneficial.

• Demonstrated strong issue resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various organizational levels.

• Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and associated tool usage.

• Good interpersonal skills; an effective team player.

• Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.
