This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on technological infrastructures;
• Identify, prioritize, and monitor vulnerabilities based on their risk levels;
• Oversee remediation plans and ensure timely updates on security patches;
• Engage in monitoring the security status of technology environments;
• Develop and sustain security dashboards and performance indicators;
• Generate reports for a variety of stakeholders;
• Participate in automation initiatives related to vulnerability management;
• Collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams;
• Execute technology and security monitoring to remain informed of current trends;
• Aid in the ongoing enhancement of security processes and practices.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as information technology, cybersecurity, or software engineering;
• Have at least three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity with an emphasis on vulnerability management;
• Familiarity with Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, or OpenVAS;
• Skilled in Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring, event correlation, and alerting;
• Experience in generating security dashboards and reports;
• Background in automating the prioritization and tracking of vulnerabilities;
• Thorough understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle;
• Sound knowledge of Azure and hybrid environments;
• Awareness of frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, CVSS, and MITRE ATT&CK;
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems;
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and segmentation;
• General awareness of application security;
• Proficient in Python for automating cybersecurity-related tasks;
• Functional proficiency in English;
• Exhibit strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and professional rigor.
