IT Security Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of HoldCo’s primary technology infrastructure, encompassing Google Workspace, device management, identity management, enterprise SaaS, security tools, and AI tools.

• Establish effective security measures that facilitate the swift deployment of SaaS, AI, and internal solutions while mitigating risks.

• Oversee user and device lifecycle processes, which include onboarding, offboarding, access modifications, endpoint management, and administration of core systems.

• Supervise escalations from the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), highlight significant issues, and collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on incident response.

• Collaborate with AI Governance to implement policies and guidelines, ensuring the secure adoption of enterprise AI.

• Leverage automation, scripting, and integrations to minimize repetitive tasks.

• Occasionally assist portfolio companies in deploying enterprise tools.

• Extensive hands-on experience in managing contemporary IT environments.

• Proficiency in administering Google Workspace, device management, identity and access management, enterprise SaaS, and endpoint or security tools.

• A practical security perspective aimed at empowering teams while addressing risk management.

• Familiarity with modern enterprise AI tools and an understanding of security and governance issues.

• Capability to utilize lightweight scripting, APIs, workflow automation, and SaaS-native integrations.

• Experience working in dynamic, resourceful environments with comprehensive technology ownership.

• Strong communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.

• Competence in configuring, troubleshooting, and enhancing owned systems independently.
