Vue.js Front-End Developer – UI Expertise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical authority during design evaluations, pinpointing implementation challenges, highlighting possible issues at an early stage, and aiding in effort estimations.

• Develop and sustain Vue-based front-end solutions utilizing Nuxt.js or comparable frameworks.

• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, mobile-first, accessible, and reusable components that maintain high design fidelity.

• Integrate and oversee data from RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Enhance applications for performance, SEO, and user experience.

• Engage in sprint planning, reviews, and architectural conversations with cross-functional teams.

• Create and maintain tests for dependable, maintainable front-end code.

• Work collaboratively with designers and developers throughout the development lifecycle.

• Occasionally assist with projects within the React ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient front-end developer with solid Vue.js expertise and exceptional design skills.

• Extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue, and React.

• Knowledgeable in design systems, including Storybook and Tailwind-based component libraries.

• Familiar with headless CMS solutions like Contentful and Storyblok.

• Acquainted with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.

• Proven design skills and fluency in Figma Dev Mode.

• Understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, responsive behavior, micro-interactions, accessibility, and WCAG standards.

• Comprehension of Figma auto-layout, variants, and component hierarchies.

• Comfortable with AI-assisted design-to-code processes, including Figma MCP.

• Capable of working independently, managing competing priorities, and showcasing analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of SSR, SSG, ISR, and PWA best practices.

• Experience with integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Proficient in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary development tools.

• Experience thoughtfully integrating AI tools into development workflows.

• Nice to have: Docker, Node.js (Express/H3), light back-end debugging, and advanced PWA experience.
