VRI/OPI Interpretation Vacancy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bolivia.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls with professionalism, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific terminology relevant to the industry in which you are interpreting, particularly in healthcare and medicine.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, without adding, omitting, or altering any content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Enable effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing precise and comprehensive interpretation of the messages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Quechua."

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience in a reputable interpretation company is advantageous, though not essential.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial, but not required.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is a plus.

• International certifications within the healthcare field are advantageous (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Strong emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
