This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluates patient medical records and extracts data for the VQI Registry.
• Accurately and consistently applies registry specifications, definitions, and criteria for inclusion and exclusion, as well as abstraction guidelines.
• Analyzes clinical documentation pertaining to vascular procedures, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, complications, and related quality measures.
• Inputs precise and comprehensive data into designated registry platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), vendor tools, or other data collection systems.
• Upholds a high standard of abstraction accuracy, completeness, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Achieves set productivity benchmarks, weekly progress objectives, and meets internal and client deadlines.
• Engages in quality assurance tasks, which include providing feedback, making corrections, validation, and conducting inter-rater reliability (IRR) reviews.
• Communicates professionally with account leaders, team members, and client representatives when clarification is necessary.
• Adheres to strict confidentiality protocols and complies with ADN, client, HIPAA, and data security regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in VQI Registry abstraction.
• Capability to independently abstract VQI cases utilizing registry specifications and clinical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare quality reporting, registry abstraction, clinical documentation review, and medical record interpretation.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, documentation, and follow-through.
• Proficiency in navigating multiple EHRs, registry platforms, vendor tools, and data collection systems as assigned.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Contractors are required to have high-speed secure internet, a PC or laptop, and at least two monitors.
