VP/Head of Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• The Vice President/Head of Product Management will oversee the complete Product Management functions for the organization, collaborating closely with the CEO, COO, CRO, and other executives to drive product strategy, roadmaps, development plans, releases, and go-to-market efforts, ensuring the success of products and services.

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of product managers, UI/UX engineers, scrum masters, documentation specialists, and project management personnel as needed.

• Formulate and implement a global Product Strategy that aligns with the company's overarching vision, business strategy, and sales execution plans.

• Create and manage both short-term (6 months) and long-term (6-24 months) product roadmaps that align with product strategy and business objectives.

• Develop and oversee the services automation roadmap and its execution, guiding their integration into the product roadmap as necessary features and functionalities.

• Analyze customer feedback, identify market trends, and prioritize roadmap execution plans accordingly.

• Manage product release cycles, ensuring adherence to committed timelines within +/-15 days.

• Establish clear quality acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive quality assurance processes for all releases and patch updates.

• Spearhead the creation of product documentation, including internal resources, client-facing materials, and sandbox environments.

• Facilitate ongoing communication with stakeholders such as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Professional Services to guarantee that product value propositions are well understood, articulated effectively, and positioned optimally in the marketplace, ensuring the long-term success of products and the associated customer experience.

• Lead the Customer Advisory Board and User Forums to cultivate strong customer relationships and gather pivotal insights.

• Act as the primary advocate and champion for MaxVal products both internally and externally, particularly in customer interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in technology product management roles, with at least 5 years in leadership of a team of product managers and/or product marketing managers, preferably in the IP industry.

• Proven success in developing and delivering on product roadmaps; end-to-end product development experience with entirely new products is an advantage.

• Extensive experience in effectively collaborating with engineering teams to drive roadmap execution.

• Significant experience working alongside sales teams, including account executives and solution consultants.

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or marketing; advanced degrees are highly preferred.

• Established track record of working collaboratively with software product teams, services teams, and customer support teams.
