This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a concise, prioritized M&A strategy that aligns with growth objectives and portfolio development.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value acquisition, investment, and partnership prospects.
• Establish and maintain a robust global pipeline, balancing immediate bolt-ons with transformational opportunities.
• Collaborate with Divisional and functional leaders to generate opportunities and ensure alignment on strategic fit.
• Oversee full deal execution with efficiency, rigor, and commercial discipline.
• Create compelling investment cases, valuations, and deal structures that enhance shareholder value.
• Negotiate transactions to achieve optimal strategic, financial, and risk-adjusted outcomes.
• Ensure strong governance, facilitating confident and high-quality decisions by the Executive Team and Board.
• Direct thorough due diligence to uncover risks, confirm assumptions, and safeguard value.
• Ensure readiness for integration prior to signing, with defined synergy targets and execution strategies.
• Manage post-close performance and value realization, holding teams accountable for investment results.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Board on inorganic growth, portfolio strategy, and deal-related risks.
• Extensive senior-level M&A experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or strategy.
• Essential experience in industrial technology, analytical instrumentation, or similar science-based sectors.
• Proven history of leading multiple end-to-end transactions, from initiation through execution and integration oversight.
• Strong financial expertise, with in-depth knowledge of valuation, investment case development, and synergy modeling.
• Demonstrated experience providing advice and working closely with Executive Teams and Boards on high-value strategic transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis and strategic decision-making, honed through both academic and professional experiences.
• Experience with both bolt-on and transformational transactions in global, matrixed organizations.
• Practical knowledge of post-merger integration and value realization.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a prestigious international business school.
• Formal education in corporate finance, strategy, or M&A.
• Understanding of corporate governance practices and experience at the board level.
