This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement extensive product strategies aimed at enhancing customer adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
• Leverage technology and tools to provide our clients with a premier travel management product.
• Direct a team of experts while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including service delivery, sales, marketing, and executive leadership.
• Define our product offerings, delivery methods, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Create and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals.
• Identify opportunities in the market and outline the product roadmap.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including planning, development, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures to ensure that products and associated technology partners adhere to securities and standards protocols, data integrity, SOX, GDPR, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
• Build and lead a high-performing product team.
• Craft product messaging and content that effectively conveys and promotes new products and services, highlighting their benefits, features, and competitive advantages.
• Foster innovation and continuous enhancement in product offerings and processes, ensuring Altour remains a leader in the travel industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology product management, demonstrating a proven track record in managing and leading product initiatives, ideally within the travel industry or a related sector.
• Proven capability to lead and motivate teams, exhibiting strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Technical expertise and comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, along with agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of technology, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology trends.
• Experience in managing a diverse range of product portfolios, including SaaS, white-labeled, and private-labeled products.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate complex concepts and ideas, engage in cross-functional collaboration, and present at customer forums and seminars.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to utilize data and insights for informed decision-making.
• Strong focus on customer needs and experience, with the ability to convert feedback into actionable product enhancements.
• Proven success in developing and executing product strategies that stimulate customer adoption, revenue growth, and market penetration.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a history of building and nurturing high-performing teams.
• Experience managing virtual teams and being a collaborative team player.
• Strong project management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with travel management systems, corporate travel, and related technologies is an advantage.
