This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with key project stakeholders and customers to grasp the overarching business vision for a project and convert it into actionable objectives.
• Act as a communication link between the business and technical communities by interpreting business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
• Understand and document requirements from various stakeholders while conceptualizing potential solutions.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of existing systems and processes to analyze the impact of changes as new solutions are integrated into the environment.
• Work closely with business owners, sales teams, QA, and development teams.
• Partner with fellow BSAs to manage inter-dependencies across the product suite.
• Aid in the development and validation of test plans.
• Create and deliver product presentations and/or training sessions for current and prospective customers.
• Exhibit effectiveness in problem-solving.
• Coordinate efforts with software developers, QA, and project teams to draft User Stories and associated documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned; travel may be necessary.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Capable of verifying U.S. employment eligibility using Form I-9.
• Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and a Common Access Card.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field.
• Equivalent work experience may replace educational requirements.
• At least 10+ years of experience in a software organization, ideally in software development.
• Must pass a drug test.
• A six-month trial/probationary period may be necessary.
• Preferred experience with tools and methodologies specific to the assigned product line(s).
• Preferred experience managing products that involve large-scale data-driven applications.
• Preferred experience in data analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Extensive experience in user interface design.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to evaluate product opportunities through market research and client feedback for market sizing, pricing, costing, and ROI analysis.
• Familiarity with project development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Extreme) is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficient in data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Presentation skills to effectively convey ideas to large and diverse audiences.
• Ability to visualize, document, and clearly communicate end-to-end solutions.
• Skilled in creating process flows and swim lane diagrams using Visio.
• Capable of building relationships with various business and technical team members and managers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High sense of ownership and accountability to achieve planned results.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
• Aptitude for understanding the business impact and value of technical solutions.
• Experience working with the Department of Defense is a plus.
• Knowledge of Environmental and/or Logistics Processes is a plus.
