This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Oversee the product strategy for Virtual Agents. Establish a multi-year vision, determine investment areas, and convert that vision into an actionable roadmap for the organization. Provide rigor and clarity in decision-making across product experience, technological innovation, vertical growth, and commercial models.
β’ Develop and direct the product function. Recruit and nurture an outstanding product team while setting the benchmark for product practices at Unitary.
β’ Collaborate across the organization to effectively implement your strategy - ensuring that products are developed correctly, sales and marketing teams are empowered, and delivery teams can scale seamlessly.
β’ Manage the complete product experience, which includes onboarding, human-in-the-loop processes, and customer success workflows that are essential for the value delivery of Virtual Agents. At Unitary, implementation and customer success experience are vital components of product differentiation.
β’ Cultivate extensive knowledge of our customers, industry sectors, and competitive dynamics β especially in commercial insurance β and leverage this expertise to make informed prioritization decisions.
β’ Act as a member of the executive team. Contribute to the overall company strategy, assist in fundraising efforts, and represent the product to customers, partners, and investors.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in product, including previous roles as a Head of Product, VP of Product, or a similar leadership position at a B2B startup or scale-up.
β’ Proven track record of scaling AI or technically complex B2B products from initial traction to substantial growth β ideally serving as one of the first product leaders in the organization. Experience with companies generating $10-$100M ARR is a significant advantage.
β’ Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining top-tier Product Managers, as well as building a product function from a foundational level.
β’ Experience in setting strategy within greenfield or rapidly changing environments.
β’ Hands-on experience in managing customer-facing processes beyond the roadmap β including onboarding, implementation, support, or customer success β with a firm belief that this constitutes essential product work.
β’ Strong technical proficiency: comfortable engaging in architectural discussions with engineers and AI researchers, capable of understanding the trade-offs between deterministic systems and AI components.
β’ Outstanding analytical and communication skills: able to deconstruct complex problems, establish clear objectives, and represent Unitary effectively to senior stakeholders, customers, and investors.
β’ Experience in regulated B2B sectors (such as commercial insurance, fintech, healthtech, legal tech, or similar) is highly desirable.
