This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Act as a principal external relationship officer in collaboration with the CEO, nurturing and managing relationships with health systems, corporate sponsors, school districts, foundations, and community organizations.
• Create and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy that encompasses grant, sponsor, and programmatic relationships, aligning funder priorities with the organization's growth objectives.
• Establish and oversee a strong pipeline of new and emerging partnership opportunities, engaging prospects from initial contact through qualification.
• Manage existing partnerships to enhance loyalty, boost lifetime value, and drive renewals and upgrades.
• Monitor funding trends and evolving funder priorities to position HealthCorps ahead of significant market changes.
• Take ownership of the entire partnership sales cycle for mid-tier and emerging opportunities, from initial outreach to closing and activation.
• Create pitches, proposals, and grant applications that effectively communicate HealthCorps' outcomes data into a persuasive, fundable case for support.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to identify, solicit, and secure transformational sponsorships for the major annual fundraiser and both national and hub-level programs.
• Provide ongoing value to existing partners through exceptional stewardship that keeps them engaged with our mission and measurable impact.
• Set the strategic tone and direction for the HealthCorps brand across all external communications and supervise the Marketing Manager in executing this across social media, websites, newsletters, and press.
• Lead the design and execution of a brand and communications strategy that fosters awareness and trust among funders, partners, and the wider public.
• Establish local advisory committees that connect HealthCorps with local civic, educational, and philanthropic leaders, in collaboration with the Alumni & Community Manager and Program Directors.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team, including the Senior Manager of Development, Marketing Manager, part-time Director of Events, and Alumni & Community Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of relevant professional experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or revenue leadership across any sector.
• Experience in managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of successfully closing and expanding partnerships, accounts, or revenue relationships while managing a portfolio of accounts.
• Willingness to travel to HealthCorps hubs, partner locations, and sector-related events as required.
