Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of approximately 150–200 small-to-medium global accounts

• Manage renewals for the current block of business

• Add and sell additional services to existing clients

• Transition accounts to higher tiers of products and services

• Provide daily support to clients and customers

• Offer consultative, proactive insights and recommendations

• Foster client relationships and address global client requirements

• Promote and cross-sell additional product lines within Cigna Global and matrix partners

• Inform clients about updates to Cigna Global compliance and processes

• Address and resolve escalated issues related to eligibility, premium/invoicing, and service

• Utilize sales information systems to maintain client records

• Travel for client and organizational meetings as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• A minimum of 2 years of Account Management and/or client-facing sales experience is essential

• International experience with a multinational clientele is required

• Strong background or experience in marketing, account management, account service, sales, or significant client/customer interaction

• Exceptional organization, efficiency, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Capability to effectively manage productive meetings

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary

• Client and customer focus; ability to build rapport and collaborate as a team player

• Proficient in analyzing and resolving problems related to the business environment, regulations, internal processes, and system limitations

• Ability to exercise independent judgment within established company protocols

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Outlook, databases, spreadsheets such as Excel, and Salesforce

• Willingness to travel for client and organizational meetings

• Health and Life Insurance License or capability to obtain it is required

• Home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service, with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed
