VP of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Act as an integral member of the Executive Team, playing a vital role in company-wide strategic planning, commercial decision-making, and organizational priorities that extend beyond the product function.

• Serve as a senior product advocate in key client relationships, engaging directly with major accounts to identify needs, validate direction, and enhance confidence in Bookassist's product roadmap.

• Contribute to the long-term product vision and overall company strategy, ensuring that product investment choices are aligned with commercial objectives, client outcomes, and Bookassist's standing within the Vertus Group.

• Oversee all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including market discovery, client engagement, competitive analysis, requirements development, actionable roadmaps, product launches, and migrations.

• Lead the strategic definition and implementation of AI integration within Bookassist's product offering, ensuring that AI functionalities are incorporated effectively and deliver measurable value to clients.

• Build and mentor the Product team as the organization grows, while upholding core product management processes, frameworks, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product and team management, with a proven track record in driving product strategy innovation, accelerating market growth, and developing market-leading product portfolios.

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science is advantageous.

• Proficient in English.
