Staff Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our platform team, which oversees the Management Layer and Control Infrastructure of our SaaS data orchestration product, Astro.

• Engage extensively with our key customers and customer-facing teams to grasp use cases and pain points, utilizing insights from this engagement to outline a product roadmap for your team, in collaboration with our wider product and R&D organization.

• Create detailed use cases and product requirements, collaborating closely with the engineering team throughout the design, development, and release phases.

• Assist product marketing and sales enablement in developing customer-centric messaging and content.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-9 years of experience in SaaS/PaaS product management.

• A technical focus that allows you to engage as an equal with engineering partners across R&D.

• A proactive approach that enables you to fulfill the product vision you establish for a group of teams within R&D.

• Experience collaborating with highly technical users who have substantial, reasonable demands—while balancing those against a committed roadmap for our overall product narrative.

• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to synthesize information from customers, product data, and industry trends into a practical, data-driven roadmap.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a history of transforming data into insights and actionable steps.
