This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of ZeroTier's marketing implementation, primarily focusing on creating a robust top-of-funnel pipeline through SEO, AEO/GEO, and organic content initiatives that enhance IQLs, MQLs, and SQL conversion over time — with responsibility for CAC, CPL, and funnel performance at each stage, along with brand metrics such as SOV.
• Spearhead ZeroTier's SEO/AEO/GEO strategy — covering technical SEO, content architecture, schema, domain authority enhancement, and ensuring ZeroTier is visible in AI-powered answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) on topics where we aim to lead the conversation.
• Oversee and steer ZeroTier's demand generation programs by establishing vector strategies, budget distribution, and performance benchmarks across paid, organic, email, and event marketing — while empowering the team to execute effectively.
• Work in collaboration with Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and senior leadership to maintain sharp, technically accurate, and distinctive messaging — translating ZeroTier's capabilities into content and campaigns that facilitate entry into designated target markets.
• Manage, hold accountable, and mentor a skilled marketing team, setting priorities, ensuring execution quality, and confirming that every piece of content and every campaign meets both workflow and content quality standards before going live.
• Over 10 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including more than 4 years in a marketing leadership position at a SaaS, networking, cybersecurity, or similar technology company.
• Strong proficiency in SEO/AEO strategy, encompassing technical SEO, content optimization, schema markup, structured data, and a robust understanding of how AI-powered answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) extract, analyze, surface, and rank content.
• Proven history of managing and enhancing top-of-funnel metrics — IQLs, MQLs, and SQL or PQL conversion — with a data-driven approach to optimization.
• Extensive experience in managing a marketing team, including recruiting, goal-setting, performance management, and hands-on coaching.
• Solid understanding of HubSpot (or equivalent marketing automation and CRM tools), attribution modeling, funnel analytics, and multi-channel reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing multi-channel demand generation programs encompassing content, email, paid, events, and partner marketing.
• Familiarity with ABSM strategies, intent data platforms, and account-based targeting in enterprise or mid-market SaaS environments.
• Capability to engage at both strategic and tactical levels — comfortable directing discussions in the board room and working alongside the team during execution.
• Good understanding of networking and/or cybersecurity concepts (VPNs, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SASE, AI security, encryption) or a demonstrated ability to quickly gain technical fluency in complex B2B sectors.
• Exceptional marketing narrative skills, with the capacity to convert technical value propositions into engaging messaging for diverse audiences.
• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is a significant advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex GTM topics for stakeholders and peers.
• Willingness to represent the company at industry events, partner forums, and customer meetings, with travel as necessary (both domestic and international).
• Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean) is also advantageous.
