VP of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all essential financial functions, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.

• Manage cash flow, capital strategy, and investment choices.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and investors to deliver actionable financial insights.

• Guarantee tax planning, audit readiness, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards.

• Build and cultivate a high-performing finance team.

• Optimize and expand financial operations through automation and best-in-class processes.

• Mitigate financial risks while guiding strategic decisions related to M&A, international expansion, and innovation initiatives.

• Propel automation and develop scalable financial systems.

• Supervise vendor payments, payroll, and employee benefits.

• Establish and refine the company’s expense policy and associated processes.

• Report directly to the CEO and act as a thought partner to the leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• More than 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.

• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

• Demonstrated experience leading financial organizations with annual revenues ranging from $5M to over $20M.

• Proven success in raising capital, driving revenue growth, and managing investor relationships.

• Extensive experience across FP&A, cash management, tax planning, treasury, compliance, and financial reporting.

• Experience in managing hardware and service COGS and profit margins.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to executing financial strategies.

• Proven ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing finance teams.

• Comfortable engaging with executives, investors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• A passion for continuous improvement, technology-driven solutions, and evolving business models.

• An MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.

• Experience in wearables, medical devices, or sleep-related technologies is a plus.

• Experience in regulated industries is an additional advantage.
