VP of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the financial operations of the company.

• Supervise cash management, financial reporting and closing procedures, as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.

• Collaborate with external tax professionals to guarantee timely and precise preparation and submission of tax returns.

• Analyze customer and vendor contracts to assess financial implications and potential business risks.

• Ensure adherence to relevant state regulations and enhance internal financial controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

• 7–10+ years of advanced finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and working capital management.

• Proven experience in working with external tax advisors and auditors.

• Experience in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

• Skilled in reviewing contracts and assessing pricing structures.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
