This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Monitor and track budget discrepancies.
• Review expenses and revenues recorded in the general ledger.
• Process and maintain accounts payable documentation.
• Prepare essential financial and compliance reports.
• Oversee and manage the budget for the RHTP program.
• Be accountable for monthly revenue and expense accruals pertaining to the RHTP program.
• Conduct reconciliations of revenue and expense accounts.
• Provide necessary information for audit purposes.
• Prepare payments for the RHTP program to sub-grantees and community partners.
• Monitor spending patterns and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure that appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are retained.
• Recommend ongoing process enhancements and ensure that procedures are properly documented.
• High school graduation with a minimum of 12 credit hours in accounting from an accredited institution, along with 8 years of relevant experience.
• OR Completion of a two-year accounting or business program from an accredited institution, with 4 years of relevant experience.
• OR Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or business administration, plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and practices in public and business administration.
• Significant understanding of contemporary office procedures, practices, and equipment.
• General familiarity with personnel policies and procedures.
• General knowledge of governmental accounting practices and procedures.
• Ability to initiate and implement administrative programs and procedures, and assess their effectiveness.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in establishing, applying, and interpreting policies and procedures.
• This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), experience with pivot tables, Microsoft D365 or a similar ERP, and Adobe Acrobat software.

• Ability to convey findings effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be capable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the department and throughout the organization.
