This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.
• Act as a strategic financial leader, managing investor relations, banking collaborations, governance, and capital strategy.
• Ensure sustainable growth, financial transparency, and investor confidence by aligning financial planning with corporate goals.
• Facilitate fundraising, optimize capital allocation, and modernize financial systems while upholding strong governance and compliance.
• Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to inform executive decisions.
• Create KPIs that link operational performance to financial outcomes (CAC, LTV, cash conversion cycle).
• Assess ROI on marketing expenditures, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead equity, debt, and hybrid fundraising activities, from sourcing investors to closing deals.
• Refine capital structure to reduce the cost of capital while ensuring flexibility and growth.
• Drive mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic investments, ensuring thorough due diligence and integration.
• Cultivate investor trust through roadshows, earnings calls, and transparent reporting.
• Present engaging investor presentations, quarterly updates, and annual reports.
• Manage both global and U.S. banking relationships.
• Supervise debt financing, credit facilities, and liquidity management.
• Implement strategies for optimizing working capital and preventing fraud.
• Streamline and automate financial processes to enhance scalability.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Legal/Compliance to mitigate risks and maintain transparency.
• Provide board-level financial reports, forecasts, and strategic insights.
• Optimize cross-border tax strategies and guarantee compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Enhance payment processing economics and settlement efficiency.
• Manage inventory financing, supplier agreements, and receivables.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team across FP&A, treasury, governance, and investor relations.
• Mentor finance professionals and promote a culture of accountability and integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Over 10 years of experience in senior finance positions.
• Strong expertise in investor relations, banking, fundraising, and corporate governance.
• Profound understanding of U.S. financial regulations and governance frameworks.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and investor-facing roles.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Business-oriented, proactive, and resilient.
• Strong decision-maker with high integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
