This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Modeling & Forecasting: Develop, sustain, and enhance financial models related to revenue, expenses, provider compensation, margins, cash flow, deal pricing, and scenario planning; assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
• Executive & Unit Economics Reporting: Compile monthly and quarterly financial reports, encompassing variance analysis, KPI tracking, unit economics performance, and executive commentary relative to budget and operational benchmarks.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to oversee budgets, analyze costs, allocate resources, and autonomously investigate operational variances to propose corrective measures.
• Data Manipulation & Synthesis: Organize, reconcile, and process substantial volumes of diverse financial, operational, claims, and patient data utilizing advanced Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools to identify trends and performance drivers.
• Healthcare Revenue Analysis: Assess crucial healthcare factors, including reimbursement trends, CMS allowables, wRVUs, provider productivity, and revenue cycle metrics.
• Strategic Insights & Dashboards: Convert vague business inquiries into structured analytical frameworks and clean reporting dashboards. Evaluate the financial implications of patient growth, provider mix, and care model performance.
• AI-Enabled Automation: Effectively apply AI and contemporary automation tools to enhance repetitive finance tasks, expedite complex calculations, and develop scalable reporting workflows.
• Month-End Support: Collaborate with Accounting on the monthly closing process, GAAP-compliant reporting, accruals, revenue/expense analysis, and internal controls. Assist in the transition and implementation of a new ERP system.
• Operational Finance: Provide assistance with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and provider payment processes as necessary while ensuring detailed model documentation.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 4-8+ years of pertinent experience in FP&A, strategic finance, healthcare finance, corporate accounting, transaction advisory, or investment banking.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare finance principles (e.g., CMS allowables, wRVUs, provider productivity) and fundamental GAAP standards.
• Technical Mastery: Proficient in advanced Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, data cleansing) with a proven history of managing large datasets.
• Tech-Forward Mindset: Comfortable utilizing modern AI productivity tools to improve analysis and documentation while ensuring rigorous quality control.
